For six blocks, there will be countless performances, workshops, presentations and shows in which to participate, create, observe and enjoy. This 30th anniversary will be dedicated to the indominable spirit of the im/migrant…past and present.

Leading up to Loisaida Festival…

Open Community Parade Workshops
Create drawings, puppets, banners, textiles, masks and much more to become part of the 30th Loisaida Festival Parade on Sunday May 28th. Or just come to draw, paint and papier mache just for fun! All ages welcome.

A mobile community laboratory Founded in 2008, Cell Motion Laboratories works towards a future in which all people have experienced the power and beauty of making a scientific discovery.

El Museo at the Loisaida Festival
El Museo del Barrio has been partnering with the Loisaida Festival for years. On this anniversary they will be providing hands-on activities for kids and families using maps of the Americas and also talking about immigration patterns.

Friends of the High Line
This will be the 3rd year where FHL will be offering interactive hands-on story telling and crafts workshops for kids during the Loisaida Festival.
