Help build your community and come to the volunteer fair connecting local residents both old and new with opportunities to help one another as volunteers!

FABnyc is partnering with the Manny Cantor Center, whose More Hands, More Hearts initiative (launched 2015) is part of a nationwide Service Enterprise movement to create meaningful volunteer opportunities in strategic, mission aligned ways. They are sharing their knowledge and experiences to help promote thoughtful volunteerism throughout our community.

This Fair is an opportunity for local institutions to connect with residents and visitors who would like to donate their time and skills to amazing programs. Likewise, it’s an opportunity for residents and visitors to put a human face to local institutions and see the breadth and depth of cultural organizations in the Lower East Side.

This program aims to give access to additional information about how to create enjoyable, fulfilling work opportunities for volunteers and enhanced programming for institutions.

This event is fueled courtesy of Pushcart Coffee and Insomnia Cookies.
